Representitive
Rintaro Mori MD PhD MSc FRCPCH
Rintaro is a specialist in global public health, women’s and children’s health, health system strengthening and sustainability with over 25 years of experience at community, national, and international levels. He is a qualified paediatrician in both Japan and the United Kingdom, involved in policy devolvement and evaluation primarily in the area of women’s and children’s health with the Governments of the United Kingdom, Japan, and many of Low- and Middle-income countries, as well as international organisations. He served as a technical expert of the World Health Organisation on global health policies and of the United Nations Population Fund on low fertility and population ageing in Asia and the Pacific region. He has worked as an academic at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, the University of Tokyo, and other public policy research centres.

Professor Stuart Gietel-Basten PhD
Stuart's research covers the links between population and policy, with a regional focus on Asia. In particular, he is interested in the emergence of low fertility across the region, and the consequences of this in terms of population ageing and growth. He has been published in a number of major journals in demography and other social science subjects. In 2017, his first book, Why Demography Matters (co-written with Danny Dorling) was published. He is also a regular contributor to the South China Morning Post and China Daily. Stuart also has rich experiences in providing policy advise to a large number of governments on population policies.
